McMullan:  30th July 2025 (peacefully) at Dalriada Hospital, Tony RIP, 4 Kenmara Park, Ballycastle, beloved husband of Eileen, cherished father of Mark, Stephen (Jean), Dee Dee and Beth, proud grandad of Holly and Leah and dear brother of Imelda, Eamonn, Brendan, Sean, Ursula, Eugene, Martin, Monica, Roisin, Dermot, Ophelia and the late Marie and Claire.  All welcome at James McMullan and Son Funeral Home on Thursday and Friday between 3pm and 5pm.  Reception of remains in Church of St. Patrick and St. Brigid, Ballycastle on Friday at 7.30pm.  Requiem Mass on Saturday at 12 noon followed by interment in Ballinlea Church Cemetery. We provide care and support for around 4,000 people living with a terminal illness, their carers and loved ones in Northern Ireland each year.

Nursing care 

There are more than 190 Marie Curie Nurses working in Northern Ireland, caring for around 3,250 terminally ill people and their families in their homes each year.

Hospices

Our hospice in Belfast cares for around 480 people each year, including people staying in the hospice and those coming in for the day to use the hospice’s services.

Helper volunteers

Our Helper volunteers regularly visit terminally ill people in their home or talk on the phone, offering companionship and emotional support, as well as practical help.

Funding

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, our services are offered free of charge to people with any terminal illness. We need to raise over £3.5 million a year to fund our hospices and nursing care in Northern Ireland.
