We are saddened to learn of the passing of our founding chairman, George Shiels MBE.
George was a stalwart in relation to the Curragh Hall and played a pivotal role in the extension completed to the hall and was involved in organising many successful events in conjunction with the many organisations that have used the hall over the years.
We send our thoughts and prayers to the immediate family circle and wider family circle at this very difficult time.

He will be sorely missed, he was kind, extremely intelligent and very funny. I will always remember your jokes and also your singing. You will always be in our hearts. Gone but never forgotten, our uncle George. A very special person.
